The historic Town Hall in Reigate & Banstead is opening its doors to the public as part of Heritage Open Days weekend, which, will be taking place across the borough, between Thursday 9th and Sunday 12th September, offering free access to medieval underground caves, historic listed buildings, museums and churches.

A new youth group is being setup in Merstham, based at St Nicholas School in Merstham. The Nautical Training Corps (NTC) is a uniformed youth organisation based in the south of England, that aims to help young people develop their full potential through nautically based training.

Mayor of Reigate & Banstead, helps to officially launch that Merstham Neighbours Scheme at the Village Hall in Merstham. Merstham Neighbours is a local volunteers scheme offering assistance and support to any residents in the Merstham area, who may need a little extra help.

Reigate & Banstead Borough Council’s recycling team is hitting the road over the coming months to bring the “reduce, reuse and recycle” message out to residents to help them waste less, and hopefully save money at the same time.
The Recycling Road show will be in Merstham for the Quality Street Fair on the 3rd July.

A new weekly arts and craft group, ‘Knit and Natter’ is being launched at the Merstham Community Facility (44 Portland Drive, Merstham) on Friday 23rd April 10-12AM.
The new group for anyone who enjoys knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts.
Come along to share hints, swap patterns, meet new people, learn new skills and have a cuppa and a chat. Everyone is Welcome! Bring whatever you are working on at the moment.
