Arty Crafty has arrived in Merstham!

This new art group is aimed at encouraging local dads, step-dads and other male carers to do art and craft activities with their children.

The group has been started by Merstham dad Glyn Elliott and funded by Merstham Community Facility Trust.

Glyn runs the sessions but the emphasis is very much on dads and kids getting stuck in with painting, clay, sticking and colouring. Don’t be put off if you’ve never done art activities before, everything you need is laid out ready. It’s not about producing masterpieces it’s about having fun with your kids in a relaxed environment.

The sessions run on the last Saturday of each month between 10.00 and 12.00 at the Merstham Community Facility, 44 Portland Drive and are free of charge. The next session will be on Satuday 27th March.
