  1. Cllr Rampertab says:

Liam’s death had come as a huge shock to the wider community.

I am very saddened by it. These things very rarely happen in Merstham, I feel very sorry for the parents, I can imagine how hard it is for them to lose a son at that age.

I heard he has been doing pretty well at school. He was a very quiet boy, kept to himself. His parents came from a very good background.

I wish all the best for the parents and I hope that they can get over it. It is very difficult for them.

Merstham is a very close-knit community. People know each other. The village life will definitely be touched by this incident. It’s very tragic.

I can not imagine the pain that you feel. I have 3 daughers in their 20′s and cannot imagine losing them. My life would be totally ended without them. My thoughts go out to you and your family. Liz Hulcoop. XXXX
