Police step up patrols following criminal damage at Merstham cemetery

Police officers from Reigate and Banstead’s Safer Neighbourhood Team have increased patrols in Merstham to deter people from causing criminal damage. The move comes after a large granite urn had been removed from a grave and thrown into a bush and other graveside ornaments were damaged.

Council launches new recycling service for businesses

A new recycling service for businesses has been launched by Reigate & Banstead Borough Council.
The business recycling service will enable local businesses to recycle their paper and cardboard waste, thereby reducing the amount of waste being sent to landfill and potentially saving money on their overall waste disposal costs.
